WHY ABBIE

  • Our public schools need strong advocates. As a parent and educator I'm running to support teachers, protect students, and ensure an inclusive, high-quality learning environment for all ELPS students.

  • We need to bridge the divide between our schools and their surrounding neighborhoods. I will foster mutually beneficial opportunities for both students and local residents.

  • Our students need to be prepared for a diverse, technology-driven world. Advancing digital literacy programs in our curriculum will emphasize critical thinking, inclusive practices, and digital citizenship.

I am committed to individual and group excellence by focusing on what is good and seeking to transform it into something great.

I’m seeking a two-year term on the East Lansing School Board.
